A certain Darwinian evolution is taking place at Microsoft. Some product species are more fit, with better chances for survival. You can understand and work with Microsoft's changes, rather than being passively impacted by them.

Mobile phone operators are starting to release Windows Phone 7.5 "Mango" updates to customers worldwide, Microsoft announced on Tuesday.
Microsoft pulled back the curtain on its new operating system, code-named "Windows 8," at a preview during its Build conference, being held this week in Anaheim, Calif.
The XAML mobile controls are based on the same APIs as the desktop and are consistent, from a developer standpoint, with the company's UI controls for Windows Presentation Foundation and Silverlight.

Among the new features in Windows Embedded Compact 7 is the Silverlight for Windows Embedded UI Framework, which enables developers to create user interfaces via Microsoft Expression Blend 3 and Windows Embedded Silverlight Tools.
The Silverlight components provider is on track to release UI controls for Windows Phone in March.
